This year’s Bang Face Weekender has been rescheduled and relocated following the closure of Pontins Southport in January. The organizers have revealed that the festival will take place at Butlin’s Skegness Resort from October 4th to 7th, which replaces its planned dates next month. Pontins Southport closed with immediate effect after being evacuated on New Year’s Day due to flooding, and the resort’s closure was made permanent just 24 hours later.

The Skyline Pavilion will be the center of the festival, according to Bang Face’s announcement on the new Skegness location. Despite the change of venue, the iconic pool party is still planned to take place at Splash Waterworld. Facilities have received a massive upgrade making it a perfect location for a music weekender, and organizers have noted that all of the venues are indoors.

The new Butlins location also has direct access to the beach, and accommodation is still available on-site, with access to a small supermarket, onsite pubs and bars as well as restaurants. The festival’s first wave line-up includes Hudson Mohawke, Helena Hauff, SHERELLE, Hamdi, and more, with further announcements still to come.

Lastly, fans can purchase tickets to this year’s Bang Face Weekender through the official website. It’s interesting to see such a drastic change to the event, but it’s clear that the organizers are taking every step possible to ensure that attendees have a great and safe time.
