Rockstar Games has unveiled a brand new trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, the highly anticipated sixth installment of the popular video game series. The trailer showcases the adventures of protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in the fictional setting of Vice City in Leonida, which is inspired by Miami and Florida. This location was first introduced in the 2002 game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Jason and Lucia are depicted in various scenarios throughout the trailer, including sharing intimate moments, engaging in an armed robbery, partying at a nightclub, and partaking in activities such as riding a jet ski. The narrative explores their struggles against the odds, as they find themselves embroiled in a criminal conspiracy that spans across the state of Leonida. To survive, they must rely on each other more than ever.

The trailer also introduces a diverse cast of characters, including Jason’s friend and conspiracy theorist Cal Hampton, entrepreneur Boobie Ike, record label executive Dre’Quan Priest, viral rappers Real Dimez AKA Bae-Luxe and Roxy, bank robber Raul Bautista, and drug runner Brian Heder. The release date for Grand Theft Auto VI has been postponed to May 26, 2026, after initially being scheduled for autumn 2025.
