Hsin-Yi Lo reported on the efforts of an animal sanctuary in South East to raise funds for a rescued sheep in critical condition. Lotus Lamb & Sheep Sanctuary took in Hope, a Wiltshire horn sheep, two weeks ago. The sheep was severely malnourished, dehydrated, and unable to stand upon arrival at the sanctuary.

Hayley Hubbard, the founder of the charity, highlighted the dire condition in which Hope arrived, stating that they believed the sheep would not have survived if not for their intervention. The sanctuary has been working to help Hope regain her strength, with ongoing tests being conducted to identify any underlying health issues. Despite inconclusive results so far, the sanctuary remains hopeful for Hope’s recovery.

The sanctuary is currently seeking to raise £800 to purchase a quad wheelchair to assist Hope with her mobility challenges. Ms. Hubbard remains optimistic about Hope’s future, expressing a commitment to providing her with the care and support needed for a second chance at life. Hope’s struggles to stand are a primary concern for the sanctuary, prompting their efforts to provide her with the necessary equipment for her rehabilitation
