Following a report of a man’s serious injury in County Down, a woman has been taken into custody in connection with the “suspicious death” incident. The incident occurred in the Fisher Park area of Newry and police were notified at 00:45 BST on Saturday. The man, in his 40s, was the victim of the incident.

With ongoing police investigations, cordons are still in place in the Fisher Park area. The arrested woman, aged 50, is currently being held by authorities.
