Post Office scandal: Exhausted, angry, heartbroken – Postmasters react to report

Postmasters who were victims of the Post Office scandal are finally seeing some light shed on the horror they endured. While the Post Office has issued an apology for the shameful period in its history, Seema remains skeptical of its sincerity, desiring to see tangible action to rectify the injustice.

Kathy McAlerney, a former sub-postmistress from Northern Ireland, recounts her distressing experience of being pursued to cover unexplained shortfalls in her accounts and eventually having her contract terminated. Despite the prolonged wait for compensation, Kathy remains hopeful that Sir Wyn’s report will bring about positive changes. She emphasizes the exhaustion felt by herself and others who have been embroiled in this scandal for years and expresses a strong desire to put this chapter behind them and move forward with their lives
