A stabbing incident in Lurgan, County Armagh, has resulted in a man being hospitalized for treatment. Authorities from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) have revealed that a woman in her twenties was arrested and is currently cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The PSNI has requested the public to steer clear of the Lord Lurgan Park vicinity while enquiries continue. This precaution is intended to allow officers to carry out their work without disruption.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) responded promptly after receiving a 999 call at 16:53 GMT on Saturday concerning the event on Derry Street in Lurgan. In a statement, NIAS confirmed the deployment of a rapid response paramedic and an emergency crew to attend the scene.

Additionally, the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) team was sent by response vehicle to provide support. After assessing and administering initial treatment at the location, the patient was transported to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for further care
