A burst water main has led to flooding at a train station serving Heathrow Airport, resulting in the suspension of all train services to and from the airport. Travelers are being advised to plan for additional journey time and consider alternative travel options due to the disruption.
The Heathrow Express, which typically operates every 15 minutes from Paddington to Heathrow, is currently not running in either direction. This suspension is attributed to a signalling system fault, as noted on the service’s website. Meanwhile, the Elizabeth line has been halted between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow Airport. Transport for London has confirmed that the signal failure causing this disruption was triggered by flooding at Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3.

Heathrow Airport has issued an apology to passengers for any inconvenience the disruptions may have caused.
Passengers using Heathrow Airport’s rail services are encouraged to remain patient while repairs and maintenance are underway and to seek out alternative transport arrangements to mitigate delays to their journeys
