A family has expressed profound grief following the discovery of a mother and her two daughters deceased at their residence. The victims have been identified as 42-year-old Nothabo Zandile Tshuma and her children, Natalie, aged 15, and Nala, who was five years old. Their bodies were found after police forcibly entered their home near Bedford on Monday, responding to concerns that the family had not been seen for several days.

In a statement released on Thursday, the family conveyed their sorrow and gratitude, saying, “During this time of unimaginable loss, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out with prayers, messages of comfort, and support.” They also acknowledged the kindness and compassion received from the community, which they said has provided considerable strength during this difficult period.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Bedfordshire Police have issued a notice seeking information about Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, also known as Mark, 45, who reportedly left the country on Saturday via Heathrow Airport using a British passport. The investigation remains ongoing, and further details have not yet been disclosed.

The family’s statement, shared through the police, noted that they are awaiting guidance from officials before providing information about funeral and memorial services. They emphasized that no additional comments could be made at this time but promised to update the public as soon as new information becomes available
