This year celebrates two decades of WellChild nurses, professionals who coordinate care for children transitioning between hospital and home. Prince Harry played a significant role in funding this important initiative.

During his visit, the duke met with Nicky Holt, one of over 50 nurses funded by WellChild. Holt specializes in caring for children requiring ventilation assistance to aid their breathing. The duke also spent time speaking with several young patients on the wards, as well as their families, highlighting the personal impact of the charity’s work.

It remains unclear if Meghan will attend any events in Birmingham or the Midlands, which could include an Invictus gathering at the National Exhibition Centre. There has also been speculation about whether the family will meet King Charles, though no such meeting has yet been announced
