Summer break can be a challenging time for parents and caregivers, but support is readily available. The Liverpool Parenting Team is organizing drop-in sessions during the school holidays to provide advice, guidance, and support to anyone in need. Expert parenting inclusion practitioners will be present at these sessions to offer assistance on various family, parenting, and relationship issues, as well as to direct individuals to Family Hubs or other services in the city.

There is no need for reservations – individuals can simply drop in at any session and venue of their choice. Various locations across the city will host these sessions, including Kensington Library in L7 2RJ and Wavertree Library on Picton Road, L15 4LP. Central Library will also be hosting sessions on specific dates throughout July and August, along with other venues like Breck Road Library, Norris Green Library, and Lifestyles Garston.

These drop-in sessions aim to alleviate the additional pressure that summer holidays can put on parents and caregivers. Cllr Liz Parsons, Liverpool City Council’s Cabinet Member for Children’s Social Services, praised the efforts of the Parenting Team in addressing these challenges and encouraged individuals to take advantage of the invaluable advice and support available to them. The knowledge and expertise of the team can provide valuable insights and guidance to anyone seeking assistance during the summer break
