To commemorate Mother’s Day, Prince William honored the memory of his mother, the late Princess Diana, by sharing a rare photograph featuring the two of them. In addition to this, a caption extended warm wishes to mothers and those reflecting on loved ones: “Wishing Mothers everywhere, and those who might be missing their Mums today, a restful Mothering Sunday.” Alongside tributes to Diana, other historical family images were circulated, including a black and white photograph from 1953. This picture captured the late Queen seated on a bench at Balmoral, Scotland, with the King and Princess Anne (now the Princess Royal). Other photos shared included a touching moment between the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother, as well as an image of Camilla with her late mother, Rosalind Shand. The archival visuals illustrate close family bonds across generations and serve as a heartfelt reminder of maternal love within the royal family
