A man was found unconscious in a park and later died, leading to a woman being charged with murder. The incident took place in Sparrow’s Nest Gardens, Lowestoft, where Suffolk Police responded at 22:13 GMT on Friday. Despite efforts by emergency services to treat the man at the scene, he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Gary Grant, a local resident of Lowestoft. An initial post-mortem examination has indicated that the cause of death is not yet clear and requires further investigation. Authorities are continuing their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Amber Stebbings, 28 years old and reported to have no fixed address, has been remanded in custody. She is set to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday to face the charges brought against her.
