Before getting his haircut, Haaland lightheartedly shared images of his past hairstyles throughout his career alongside some playful ideas for his new look. As the hairdresser began trimming his hair, the initially apprehensive Haaland soon broke into a smile, clearly pleased with the transformation.
After finishing, Haaland reached out via video call to a few close contacts, including his Manchester City teammate Jack Grealish, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, and former City manager Pep Guardiola. Their reactions were varied but mostly positive. Gallagher commented, “You look about 17 years old. It’s good. Change is good.” Both Grealish and Guardiola expressed their enthusiasm for the new style.
Grealish added humorously, “You look about 10 years old. That is hilarious. I can’t stop looking at the front of your hair. I love it.” Guardiola chimed in with, “No way. You’re lucky you have hair. I would love to have it. I love it.”
Prior to calling Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Haaland joked that the Swedish star had advised him never to cut his long hair. Haaland explained, “Zlatan told me, never cut your hair, because your strength is in your hair. I’m a bit nervous.
