Lisburn: Woman, 40, dies in three-vehicle crash

A fatal accident involving three vehicles occurred in Lisburn, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident took place on the Moira Road during the weekend and led to five individuals, including a child, being transported to the hospital for medical care.

The deceased has been identified as Karen Stewart, aged 40, who was from Portadown in County Armagh. She succumbed to her injuries after being admitted to the hospital following the collision. The crash was reported to have happened at approximately 11:06 BST on Saturday.

According to PSNI Detective Inspector Stewart, Karen Stewart was driving a Ford Kuga at the time of the accident. The vehicle collided with a Citroen C5 and a BMW near the junction with Crewe Park Road. Emergency services, including police, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, responded promptly to the scene.
