Two former Vodafone franchise store managers from Lincolnshire, Donna Watton and Rachael Beddow Davison, are part of a group of 62 ex-franchisees taking legal action against Vodafone. The women claim they were burdened with substantial debts and experienced serious mental health difficulties after operating their Vodafone-branded shops. Their legal claim accuses Vodafone of making unpredictable and irrational business decisions that negatively impacted the franchisees.

Watton and Beddow Davison both initially managed Vodafone stores before being offered the chance to run them as franchises starting in 2017.
